Symptom

  • Following error appears while creating a new WebI report based on a fairly large Excel document (more that 72000 rows)- “An error occurred from the server. Unable to create or update the Excel personal data provider: cannot open the workbook. (IES 10872)”
  • It works fine when the number of rows are reduced in the Excel datasource.
