2074858 - Enabling the input file archiving for the files processed by connectors

How can the input files processed by connectors be viewed after they have been consumed by a connector?

Connectors process the information provided via input files, but this data is not saved by default if the system is not configured to do so. To enable the archiving of input files for the next executions of the connectors, please:

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Connectors >  Connector Settings > 
2. Select the "Enable input file archive" checkbox >
3. At the "Purge archived input files older than" additional option, the admin can set the length of time the file can be kept before being deleted >
4. Press the button "Apply Changes" when finished.

This change will enable the "View archived input file" button on connectors’ screens.

If the connector runs and the file is picked by the connector, a copy of the file processed will be archived and viewed by pressing this button.

It is very useful to check the archived input file searching by the ID of the entity showed in the connector’s report when errors or exceptions are generated.

Important: The logs for the jobs are purged as outlined in the guide.
