2075214 - CREATE DATABASE does not report when device has insufficient space - SAP ASE


CREATE DATABASE and ALTER DATABASE commands appear to succeed even when there is not enough space on the database device to satisfy the request.
For example:

CREATE DATABASE: allocating 65536 logical pages (1024.0 megabytes)
 on disk
 'dbccdb1_data_001' (65536 logical pages requested).

CREATE DATABASE: allocating 7936 logical pages (124.0 megabytes)
 on disk
 'dbccdb1_log_001' (81920 logical pages requested)
Processed 287 allocation unit(s) out of 287 units (allocation page 65280).
100% completed.Database 'dbccdb1' is now online.
