2075436 - How to connect to ASE with SSL from DBISQL and Sybase Central - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ISQL can connect to ASE with SSL. Please refer to KBA 1899365 How to Setup SSL with ASE.
  • But, when you connect to ASE with SSL from Interactive SQL (DBISQL) or Sybase Central, the connection fails with the following error message:

       Could not connect to the server.

       Connection refused.

Ensure that the name in the "Server name" field is correct and that the server has been started.
JZ006: Caught IOException: javax.net.ssl.SSLException:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error:
java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty
Error code=0
