Symptom

While doing light optimization for a model on BPC web client, error messages displayed in both BPC web client and BW:

  • Error message in BPC web client: An error occurred while optimizing the model; check the BW logs for optimize process chain.
  • Error message in SLG1 log: SQL0413N Overflow occurred during numeric data type conversion. SQLSTATE=22003 row=1.
