2077368 - Error: the compensation currency conversion table does not exist in the system - Variable Pay

Symptom

  • You attempt to clone an existing template and nothing happens. Or you attempt to change the start or end dates.

Environment

  • Variable Pay.

Cause

  • Missing a Currency Conversion Rate Table.

  • Tip for Support or Partners: When you go to provisioning form templates and select the template and try to save you see a message: Error: the compensation currency conversion table does not exist in the system. Please check the name and try again.

Resolution

  • It is now mandatory to have a Currency Conversion Rate Table in Variable pay module.

  • The table need not to contain any data but there should be a table in the system.

  • The default table name is COMP_CURRENCY_CONVERSION.

  • If in the past you never used Currency Conversion Rate tables then you should create a table named COMP_CURRENCY_CONVERSION in the system.

  • To create the Currency Conversion Rate Table please follow the following steps:
  1. Login to the instance.

  2. Go to Admin tools(Old).

  3. Search for Manage Currency Conversion Rate Tables and click on it.

  4. Enter COMP_CURRENCY_CONVERSION in the ‘Name’ column and click on create.

  5. Once done you’ll see the conversion table on the same screen.

  6. Now try to change the Bonus Dates.
