Symptom

  • SAP BusinessObjects BI Analysis for OLAP connecting to SAP BW BEx query via BICS driver.
  • OLAP Connection to SAP BW specifies a valid user name and password or Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • A User tries to connect Analysis for OLAP to the BEx query. This results in error:

    Login failed.  Invalid user name or password.
