• This Article describes how to restrict an administrator target population in Variable Pay Employee History.

• A customer reports that his administrators should be restricted to a specific population in the Employee History Editor. Even when defining a specific target population using Administrative Domains Privileges, the administrators are still able to access the entire population.

• This is happening because Variable Pay Employee History Editor is not controlled by Administrative Domains Privileges but it’s controlled by Detailed Reporting Privileges.
   
  So, in order to restrict an administrator target population you have to go to Admin Tools > Manage Security > Detailed Reporting Privileges, check Detail Report box and define your target population (in our example, 3 locations) and hit the Save Permission for Selected Users  button to save your changes.
