2080033 - Admin Tools options are no longer used are EC enabled

Symptom

After Employee Central is set up, are there any Admin Tools options that are no longer used?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Resolution

Once a client has Employee Central turned on, the following menu items under Manage Users are no longer used due to the effective dating aspect of Employee Central:

  • Employee Import: This has been replaced with a new import process (Import Employee Data under Manage Users and then select the import type you want to import) introduced by Employee Central.
  • Import Files Introduced with Employee Central Include:
    • Basic Import
    • Extended Import
    • Background Import
    • Job History
    • Compensation Info
    • Leave Of Absence History
    • Addresses
    • Business Address
    • Compensation Adjustment
    • Work Eligibility
    • Reset User Account
    • Set User Status
    • Change User Information
    • Manage User 

                      They can only be done through processes included in EC application.
