2080928 - Unable to import a record with special characters into HANA

Symptom

  • There is an error when trying to import data into HANA from a file using the SQL 'import' command.

  • The error is similar to: "feature not supported: Not encoded string with CESU-8 or some UTF-8 except a surrogate pair".
