Resolution

Job requisitions can include screening questions. These questions can be created 'on the fly' when creating a new job requisition, or can be taken from a library.

Is it possible to have questions translated?

  • It is possible to have the same question translated, but it is necessary to import all of the translated text within the same import file.
  • In order to link a question to the ones that are in a different language, the GUID column is used.
  • When importing the same question in English and in Spanish, two lines must be present in the csv file, and both with the same GUID. Note the ID of the question is system generated and has no relevance to link questions in different languages

Can I add translations to a question library already in the system?

  • It is not possible to add translations to a library after the library is imported to the system.
  • All translations must be imported in the same file. If you need to add translations to a pre-existing library, you will need to delete the questions already in the system and import a new file containing all of the translations.
  • If you don't wish to delete all of the questions and re-import them, you can add the question with a different GUID.
