What is DPCS?
The Data Privacy Consent Statement allows customers to present a candidate with a notification detailing how the customer handles the candidate’s personal data. Candidates must accept this statement before entering their data.
Data Privacy Consent Statement has two versions, 1.0 and 2.0. The recommended is to have the version 2.0 implement as the DPCS 1.0 version is already deprecated.
What are the difference between 1.0 and 2.0 versions?
- DPCS 1.0: Allows customer to provide a data privacy prompt for internal and external candidates in the candidate's preferred language. This is a legacy feature, all the customers should be using the version 2.0;
- DPCS 2.0: Allows customer to provide a country-specific data privacy prompt for internal and external candidates, in the candidate's preferred language. It also supports versioning, auditing and empowers the administrator to accept/revoke on behalf of users;
How to implement or migrate to DPCS 2.0?
Migrating from DPCS 1.0 to DPCS 2.0 requires engagement with SuccessFactors professional services as it requires changes to current configuration, setting up of statements and Recruiting Settings.
