Symptom
- Is it possible to delete an external candidate as an administration action?
- Is this candidate really deleted?
- "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
Success Factors Recruiting Management (RCM)
Resolution
- Yes it is possible if DPCS (Data Privacy Consent Statement) 2.0 is enabled. In this case a new link will appear in admin tools under “Managing Recruiting”:
- The candidate will not be immediately deleted because a back-end scheduled job must run to actually delete the data (this is normally scheduled every day).
- The candidate will not appear anymore in the Candidate searches.
- However the candidate will still appear in ad-hoc reports and in the applications: some fields will appear as “anonymized” or “***”.
- The customer must ask to have a configuration done in order to define which fields must be anonymized in both the candidate profile template and in the application template.
- Use cases:
- An external candidate wants to be deleted and make a call to the company. The administrator can quickly retrieve the profile and delete it.
