2081666 - Do not delete PUBLIC option from sysoptions system table - SAP IQ

Symptom

  • Do not delete PUBLIC option from sysoptions system table.
  • PUBLIC options that do not exist in sysoptions system table cannot be set as a user option.
  • When you set a user option, you receive the following error.

(DBA)> set option dba.Aggregation_Preference=1;
Could not execute statement.
  Invalid option 'Aggregation_Preference' -- no PUBLIC setting exists
  SQLCODE=-200, ODBC 3 State="42000"
