2081900 - Error: Drag and Drop Candidate - Recruiting Management

A user is encountering the error message "You do not have permission to move the candidate", when attempting to move a candidate via the Drag & Drop method, in a Job Requisition talent pipeline.

There are 2 possible causes for this issue:

1. Admin Tools -> Edit Applicant Status Configuration. Some status are required.
2. The operator doesn't have write permission for job application field "statusId" in job application template.

Regarding Cause 1:
One simple setting to check is whether there are required statuses in the pipeline.
For example; status A, Status B and status C. I cannot move candidate from status A to C because status B is required. 
Select Candidate → Action → Move Forward. In the pop up window, you will see only one step forward that you can select.

Regarding Cause 2:
Please check if your operator has permission or not in the application template, as shown below;

In this case, only Originator(O role) has write permission for field "statusId".
When recruiter(R) or hiring manager(G) tries to drag and drop the candidate, it will show an error: "You do not have permission to move the candidate."

Please update the template as shown below:
