Why is Candidate Search returning more results than I expect?

The Candidate Search is a powerful tool that can search through all of the data recorded in the candidate profile. It even has the ability to search through all the text within a text based resume and cover letter attachments.

The results the candidate search will provide are based on a logical AND function. Example:

If you were to search for "John Doe", it will return queries for any candidates that contain "John" AND "Doe" anywhere in their candidate profile, including resume and cover letter. 

Next it will also list queries for "John" OR "Doe".

Please note, there is no way to sort the results based on the given criteria (for example: sort by first name / last name etc). This is not supported at the moment.
