2082676 - E-verify Activity Still Shows “Referred to SSA” - Onboarding

• Why does my candidate’s activity still shows as “Referred to SSA” in the E-verify Work Queue?  
• The candidate was Referred to SSA and brought back documents confirming their eligibility to work in the US. What can I do? 
• How long do I need to wait before I see "Referred to SSA" status changes?

• The reason the activity is still showing "Referred to SSA" in the E-verify Work Queue is due to DHS still working on the case.
• You will need to wait for DHS or SSA to update.
• During this time your case will remain in Continuance. 
• On day 11, if the case remains in Continuance, the Work Queue status will change to one of these possible statements:
• Employment Authorized
• Institute Additional Verification
• Case In Continuance – Either SSA or DHS Needs More Time to Resolve the Case
• SSA Final Nonconfirmation
