Which feeds do my posts appear in and who can see them?

Publishing

Microblogging is made possible on Jam through the status update publisher.  A microblog can consist of as little as a short sentence fragment, a link, an image, or even the preview of a document. Social collaboration sites use microblogging to convey small, digestible amounts of information.  Jam's publisher, found on your home page, profile page, and in groups, allows you to publish up to 1,000 characters and to conveniently attach a link, photo or document to your post.

Home Feed

The Home Feed serves as a pulse of your organization, all public content of the people you follow is published here as well as all the activity of the private groups to which you belong.

Profile Feed

The Profile Feed displays anything that directly has to do with you, which includes any posts that you make, any comments made on your posts and any direct messages directed at you (which could include @user or @@notify).

Company Feed

Company Feed can be created via the Custom Home Page feature available to SAP Jam admins. (For further information please check SAP KBA 2583344 - SAP Jam - How to create a Company Feed.

@User Feed

Located in the left navigation bar on the Home Page, the @user feed displays all direct messages.

Search Field

All public content, from discussions and wikis to groups and employees are maintained for future discovery and our global search can be used to find any of these public items.
