2084215 - Manage Data - Guidelines - Setting Pattern for Min Max High Low Def - comp-payguide-pattern - Compensation

Symptom

  • By default the standard guidelines for standard compensation fields will display the minimum and maximum guidelines.

  • How do we change the default guidelines from min max?

Environment

  • SAP Successfactors Compensation
  • SAP Successfactors Variable Pay

Resolution

The following tag controls the display of the standard guideline fields. You must use the reserved keywords "min", "max", "high", "low", "def" to describe the display pattern; "def" (meaning default) is for recommendation.

  •  comp-guideline-pattern

For example, if use pattern "min-max(def)", guideline will be displayed like $1,000-$2,000($1,500) or 1.0%-

  2.0%(1.5%).

From your Template, navigate to Plan Setup > Settings > Display Settings > Guideline Format (This setting allows you to determine how the standard fields Individual Guideline, Team Guideline will display on the worksheet variable pay tab. Five possible keywords can be used: “min”, “low”, “def”, “high” and “max”. If you use the pattern min-max, the guideline will display as 2%-4%. If you use the pattern min-def-max, the guideline will display as 90%-100%-110%.) You may update it to the mentioned possible keywords as explained above.

If you have worksheets that are currently launched, you must trigger "Update Worksheets" in order for this change to take effect in your forms/worksheets when you are in Form View. This change will ONLY take effect dynamically in Executive Review.
