2084539 - Budget - Budget Total on Form Not Changing Based on Filters - Compensation


  • Within a compensation form you see correct budget totals. Then you use filters to hide some people on the plan but the budget totals do not change.
  • We expect that the budget group totals will dynamically change as we change the filters and who is displayed in the compensation plan.

  • This is expected behavior. Values in budget table are based on the form and not the filtered employees.
  • The budget toal is a calculation of all employees in that form and can't be divided dynamically by the filterin options. The same applies to group total of that form since allocated amounts in the budget table should be the same as group totals.
  • In this way the planner always knows whether allocation exceeds budget even if you are currently filterin out some people on the plan.
  • Note: In executive review, when applying filters, the Totals will be updated as the executive review is designed very differently than how the worksheet works. A worksheet will not work the same as Executive Review, and that too is working correctly as designed.
