2084684 - Error - At least one entry needs force comment when routing forms - Compensation

Admin is trying to route a worksheet to another user and gets the error that at least one entry needs force comment.

1. Go to Route Forms
2. Select the form you need to route
3. Select the step you are routing the form 
4. Error message appears "At least one entry needs force comment"

Working as designed. Form moved to next step without the required comments in the first place, possibly due to manager transfers or incorrect change in roles where the force comment rule was originally ignored.

Managers will need to make the comments and save the form before trying to route the forms. In case the forms are in completed status and you need to move it back to any step you’d have to first enter the comment for the employees whose entries are above/below the guidelines. But since the forms are completed planner won’t be able to enter this comment directly through the form. One way to enter this forced comment is described below:

1. Go to Admin Tools
2. Compensation > Form template administration
3. Open the correct template
4. Check mark the following option: “Allow edit of completed Compensation forms”
5. Next proxy as one of the user who has Executive Review Edit Permission
6. Now go to executive review
7. Open the correct template
8. Search for the employees whose entries are above/below the specified guidelines
9. Click on the Comment Icon and enter comment. 

Repeat the same for all the other employees whose merit/lumpsum is above/below the specified guidelines. Once this is done you’ll be able to move the form to any step using Route Form functionality.

In case the comments are not a requirement for your business, you can delete it in the template's configuration, under Define Standard Validation Rules in Design Worksheet's dropdown.

NOTE: if you have force comment configured and insert a value outside the guidelines in Executive Review it will still be possible to save without a comment, but it will not allow send to next step on the form without enter a comment.
