Resolution
Creating a new personal Compensation statement template
If your company does not yet have a Compensation statement, you have two options:
- Download our free pre-built statements from the SuccessStore via Compensation Home> Action for All Plans> Manage Statement Templates> Seuucess Store.
- Pay for customized statements to be created for you.
Change Requests
- If your Compensation worksheets have changed year on year, and new fields/calculations exist which now need to be included within the statement but cannot be added via the UI,
you will need to plan for a change request. For this please allow a turnaround of 2-4 weeks and possibly longer for more complex changes.
- Your maintenance contract typically includes duplicating your existing statement and making basic text changes year on year for free.
However, this does not cover more complex changes like adding new fields, removing fields and changing calculations etc.
For this and any type of edits required outside of the UI may incur charges.
Process for customizations when a change is not possible via the statement editor
Please open a new case with customer support and provide the following.
- Customer name
- Instance ID
- Data center
- Login (Username)
- Statement name
- Deatils of changes - Provide a mock up of how you would like the custom statement to look like.
- Support will open an internal ticket for you with this information to our BTS team.
- While this is open internally with the BTS team support will remain engaged with you via the case while your request is being reviewed for costs etc.
Timelines & Process
- Small basic changes can be done in approximately 2 weeks, while highly customised requests can take up to 6 weeks.
- BTS will review your specifications to confirm if this is covered for free within your maintenance fee, or if additional charges would occur to make these changes.
- The creation of a new statement does incur a cost as this is a custom statement. Support this not able to provide details on costs as these will vary per clients based on the required changes.
- Prices and estimates can be provided once you have submitted your change request and our BTS team has evaluated the work involved. The client can then authorize the work or not.
- Support will open an internal ticket for you with our BTS team and stay engaged with you via the case while the BTS team works with you to confirm costs, and technical details.

TIPS- Making Edits:
- Always keep backups of last working versions before you make additional changes to valid statements so you can quickly and easily revert to your last known working version if you inadvertently break your statement making edits via self-service.
- Text Only Changes - A common change clients need is to change the plain-text and the year shown on the statement.
Use the statement editor to make common changes. Do not edit any functional code as this can break your statement.
Always make a backup of the original before altering. Customer Support can assist with "text only/label" changes for free.
