2084860 - Not able to log in to Data Federation

• Data federation Admin tool (DFAT) fails to login with the below error -
  Cannot connect to the server that hosts the data federation service. (DFA 40001)
  [Data Federator Driver] Unexpected exception: com.crystaldecisions.thirdparty.org.omg.CORBA.UNKNOWN: null
  Unexpected exception: com.crystaldecisions.thirdparty.org.omg.CORBA.UNKNOWN: null
• The Information design tool (IDT) also fails with a similar error when trying to connect via BI Platform data federation service.
• On the affected server, in CMC > servers, the Adaptive processessing Server  (APS) does not show any metrics for the data federation services while there are metrics for other services. This is not the case with a working server.
• Even when a new APS server is created with just the Data Federation service ( DF ), the server starts up and is enabled but does not show any DF related metrics on the CMC server metrics.
