2084862 - Executive Review - Missing People - Compensation

Symptom

  • Executive review is missing employees/Not showing all the employees
  • Why is the Executive Review Missing employee?

Environment

  • Compensation

Cause

  • Reason 1: why this is happening is that the Person who is doing the executive review doesn’t have Detailed Reporting Rights.

Resolution

To grant Detailed Reporting Rights to a user follow these steps:

1) Go to Admin Tools

2) Search for “Detailed Reporting Privileges”

3) Search for the User here

4) Grant him all the Permissions as shown in the screen shot(If you want this user to see all the employees)

5) Once done click on “Save Permission For Selected Users”

6) Proxy in as the user to verify the changes.

 

Reason2:  why this is happening could be because of the Filter option selected in Executive Review.

1) Proxy in as the user who is doing the executive review

2) Go to Compensation Tab then Executive Review

3) Select the appropriate template

4) Then click on Filter options

5) Check the filters selected here.

Please note if you wish this person to see all the employees you would need to select “Detailed Reporting Rights” under Filter Options

6) Once that done click on Update and verify the changes.

 

Reason 3:  why this is happening could be because of a break in Hierarchy.

  • Please note Executive Review follows Compensation Hierarchy.
  • So if there was any change in the Hierarchy or break in the Hierarchy employees would be missing in executive review.
  • Please see the attached document that expands on an example of this scenario. This can help visualize why this occurs.
