2085138 - Statements - Section Missing on Statements for Some Users - Compensation

Symptom

  • Describes why a section on your statement may not be showing for some users or all users when generated.

  • We have added a section to our statement via the editor and it appears correctly. But when we generate the statement for end users the section does not show for some people (or even for no one).

Environment

  • Compensation

Cause

  • Conditional sections. Typically fields and sections on statements are setup whereby they will only show to those users where the condition is met. For example only show x, y, z if the user has met a certain value or condition.

Resolution

  • To check/change the condition go to the statement editor and click on the edit button right next to the section name.

  • Now, check the condition/rule that has been setup. For example it might be set to only show this section if the lumpsum is greater than 0.

So if there’s any employee whose lumpsum is 0 this section won’t show on the statement.

(Note: You might have different condition setup)

  • You can change the condition to meet the data you have in the system, for example, rather than just say greater than 0, say greater than or equal to 0 so that even if an employee has a lumpsum of 0 this section appears. Each client will need to evaluate their rules against their data to determine what rule is appropriate. Customer Support cannot be expected to advise a cleint what their own rules should be.
