When you include the standard FTE field in your template, the system will then correctly calculate the compa-ratio, range penetration, and adjust the min-mid-max of the pay range of your non-hourly, part-time employees. (CMP-6747)
Once you have added the standard FTE field you will then need to import the data. In your Employee Data file with Compensation Data this field is the COMPENSATION_FTE column. If this column is blank for an employee then it is considered that the FTE of that employee is 1. This is a percent column so value should always be <1, like 0.5 for a part-timer who works 20 hrs/week.
Let say that this is the Pay Range for the Pay Grade SUPP 120,000(min) 170,000(mid) 200,000(max).
For 0.5 FTE the Pay Range that will be displayed in the form is 60,000(min) 85,000(mid) 100,000(max) while for the 0.75 it is 90,000(min) 127,500(mid) 150,000(max)
The Compa-Ratio for the 0.5 FTE; 82,992/85,000 = 97.64% and 63,169.6/85,000 = 74.32% while for the 0.75 FTE it is 78,000/127,500 = 61.18%
The Range Penetration will also be calculated using the Pay Range displayed in the form.
