2085356 - Creating Worksheets by Employee Group in SuccessFactors Compensation

• Customers often want to launch worksheets at different times during the year, to accommodate local planning practices.
• Without this feature, the rollup report would not work, and employees would be added to multiple forms.
• Now Admin can now select a dynamic group of employees on the Create Worksheets page, and create worksheets for the Planners of those employees.
• Can we launch compensation worksheets to dynamic groups of people?

Note: This option can be enabled/disabled ONLY when there are no worksheets launched for a plan/template.

 Why use this?

• Example: UK merit planning takes place in March; Netherlands merit planning takes place in April.  Planner with teams in both countries will receive one worksheet with UK employees, another for Netherland employees.
• Rollup report enhanced to include both worksheets; no duplication of employees on worksheets
• If you share group with another user they must have role base permission to the "Manage Employee Groups"
• If groups are shared they can be cloned in order to make changes to it, only the original owner can make changes to the shared group.

Note: Create worksheets by employee group does not work with the following features. If they are enabled, Create worksheets by employee group will be greyed out. If Create worksheets by employee group is enabled, you will not be able to set any of the features listed below:

1. Hierarchy-Based Approval (HBA)  
2. Legacy Launch for a specific group
3. A budget based on planner or group, with mode DirectAmount (sample screenshot below)

To enable and use Create worksheets by employee group:

1. Go to Admin Center
2. Open Compensation Home
3. Select your template
4. Go to Plan Setup > Settings > Advanced Settings
5. Enable Create worksheets by employee group:
