2085420 - No results shown when using the Search and Browse tabs in Nominations Portlet - Succession Management

When using the Search and Browse tabs in the Nominations portlet and trying to add a nomination, no results are returned. Message "There were no results." is displayed:

1. Go to Employee Profile > Nomination Portlet;
2. Add a nomination to user;
3. In the nomination dialog, under Search tab, try to search for a position or incumbent;
4. The search does not retrieve any results.

This issue may be caused in instances where Families and Roles (JDM v1.0) or Job Profile Builder (JPB/JDM v2.0) are not yet defined.

If this issue is only occurring when using the Search functionality in the Nomination Portlet, it indicates the term used to search for positions is not yet associated to a job role, in Families and Roles. However, if no results are retrieving in the Browser functionality, as well, it means the Families and Roles were not yet defined for the instance.

To resolve this issue, it is necessary to configure families and roles in the instance, by following the below steps:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Roles (JDM v1.0) or Manage Job Profile Content (JPB/JDM v2.0);
2. Verify if families and roles were created:
• If there are families and roles created > make sure the job codes mapping to the job roles were correctly done;
• If there are no families and roles created > create families and roles for the jobcodes in your instance.

After the families and roles are correctly created, the Search and Browser functionalities of the Nomination Portlet, will return results:
