Symptom
- The ASE datatype TINYINT should only permit values from 0 to 255 inclusive
- INSERT of values outside that range will result in a failure with ASE error 247:

Arithmetic overflow during implicit conversion of INT value '-33' to a TINYINT field. - SELECT of the negative of a TINYINT value should return error 247, but returns incorrect value without an error instead:
