• Can Report Designer create simple colors, boxes, lines and other shapes to use as borders or other aesthetic features?

• To apply simple artwork and geometry to your reports, create lines and shapes as image files in a program such as Paint and import the images into Report Designer. 
• Images can be placed "behind" other elements such as tables and charts and thus function as borders or backgrounds.  A large image of a uniform colour or texture can even be a backdrop for the whole report - but be sure to check that all text is legible in front of it.
