2086701 - ServerNotFoundException: Invalid Server: GatewayServer - EIS

Symptom

  • In SAP EIS (Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization), a failure occurs when loading a new scenario/supply chain via the SAP EIS Gateway Loading Tool (SGLT)
    and you see errors in the EIS Application Server log like the following:

Caused by: com.smartops.remote_file_manager.ServerNotFoundException: Invalid Server: GatewayServer
Caused by: com.smartops.processors.ProcessorException: Couldn't get gateway server
Caused by: com.smartops.processors.ProcessorManagerException: Can't initialize processor for GatewayDataLoader

  • SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS).
  • Also, earlier versions of EIS that were referred to as EIO or MIPO.
  • This issue does not occur in an environment where the application and its database are on the same server (referred to as a 'Local' setup).
