2087236 - Participants Threshold Control - 360 Reviews

Symptom

What is the Participants Threshold Control and how can you use it during the creation of your 360 Reviews?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors 360 Review

Resolution

    • The Participants Threshold Control option allows you to determine if you would like to exclude responses at the item level (for example, by Competency) or at the document level.
    • To enable the Threshold Control please follow the steps below:
    1. Go to Admin Tools
    2. 360 Manage Template Settings
    3. Select your template

    Participants Threshold Control:

    • Specifies the level of information to be excluded in 360 reports for this form.
    • To protect anonymity or to ensure an accurate sampling of data, exclude responses.

    Participant Level:

    • Excludes responses for the entire form. For example, you might want to exclude all responses from peers, if the minimum number of peers don't complete the evaluation.

    Item Level:

    • Excludes responses for specific sections of the form. For example, you can exclude the Competencies section responses if not enough participants completed that section.

    Example:

    • Refers to the minimum number of, say, "Peers" required before the ratings and comments from peers will be displayed. The better choice is almost ALWAYS "Participant Level".
    • The reason we recommend using Participant Level is because, let's say 3 people have been asked to rate an employee, each of those raters skip a question. The threshold is set = 3.
    • This means none of the raters' responses would show up (unless you have rollup turned on). The user could end up missing valuable information that is included in those reviews.
