The Always Enable Proxy Lookup setting determines whether users can search for people by name when assigning a proxy in Proxy Management.

When this setting is enabled, the Find User option is displayed, allowing users to search for and select a proxy by name instead of entering the username manually.

Important Notes: 

• This setting is primarily relevant for organizations that do not use the Employee Directory feature.
• If the Employee Directory feature is not enabled and Always Enable Proxy Lookup is disabled, the Find User option will not be available. In this scenario, users must know and enter the proxy user's username manually.
