An explanation of the [[DOC ACTION]] token used in email notification templates.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

The DOC ACTION variable is typically used and found in the following email templates:

• Document Routing Notification
• Document Routing Skip Notification
• 360 Document Evaluation Notification

Depending on step routing, the user will be sent an email with the variable being replaced with the appropriate verbiage.

• it will say "approval" when it arrives in inbox in normal routing
• It will say "review" when sent from a get feedback request
• It will say "signature" when sent to the signature step
• If rejected and sent back to person it will say "modification"
