2087439 - Employee Export | How to export all your user's information

• I wish to export the User Data File (UDF);
• How can I export all my user's information?;

All the steps are explained in SAP Help Portal Guide Exporting User Data.

For instances with more than 4.000 users, the file will not be instantly exported. Instead, the system will create a job to process the export as a batch operation. The following will be visible in the UI:

• A Refresh button will be available at the same screen while the file is created in the background. Wait a minute and click on the refresh button.
• Once the file is ready to be exported, an export button will appear so you'll be able to download the file.

On the other hand, if the total number of users is less than 4000, the UDF file will be generated instantly. Check the option "Export as a batch process" to perform the export as a batch process if needed.

The message “Request submitted for user export has completed” will display the most recent date on which the creation of a batch export job was created:

Note:

• If the button is non-functional, there may be another export job initiated in the past. Unless this job completes, the export button remains non-functional.
• Terminate that job so that the Export User File button becomes functional again.
• Downloaded Reports are retained in the data center for one month. On the first day of each month, a global Provisioning back-end job deletes reports that were generated before the first day of the previous calendar month. This process is performed as part of a product enhancement to improve scalability and system performance.
