2087439 - Employee Export | How to export all your user's information

• I wish to export the User Data File (UDF);
• How can I export all my user's information?;

All the steps are explained in this SAP Help Portal Guide Exporting User Data.

Please note that if your instance has more than 4.000 users, system won't export the file instantly. Instead, it will generate a job to perform the export as a batch process.

A Refresh button will be available at the same screen while the file is created in the background. Wait a minute and click on the refresh button.

Once the file is ready to be exported, an export button will appear so you'll be able to download the file.

On the other hand, if the total users < 4000, then when you click "Export User File" Button, it will immediately generate the UDF without waiting. If you prefer, you can check the option "Export as a batch process" when you export the UDF, hence a job to perform the export as a batch process will be generated.

The message "Request submitted for user export has completed" will display the last date the user requested a batch job to be created.

Note:

• If the button is non-functional, there may be another export job initiated in the past. Unless this job completes, the export button remains non-functional.
• Terminate that job so that the Export User File button becomes functional again.
