Reproducing the Issue
- User A has proxied as user B;
- Going to the user menu > Settings > The language option is not available;
Resolution
By system design, the proxy (logged in user) retains his or her own language when proxying as another user.
For example, if Admin User uses English and wishes to proxy as User B who uses Japanese, Admin User would still need to see the menu options, system labels, in English in order to do what needs to be done.
If Admin User is troubleshooting language issues or needs to check the pages in the user’s locale, he would first need to Change Language on his own account before proxying as the user.
