Symptom
Customer wants to receive email notification alerts on storage limit.

Resolution
Configuring Document Attachment Settings
- In Admin Center
- Go to Company System and Logo Settings
- Find the "Document Attachment" session
Please refer to document Configuring Document Attachment Settings | SAP Help Portal to learn the fields that can be configured.
Users who have access to All document categories (Administrator Permissions > Manage Document Categories > ALL) and additional recipients configured in "Additional Recipient List for Attachment Storage Alerts" setting will receive the notification on the storage.
Also, any user with "Administrator permissions" will also receive the notification such as:
- Manage integrations
- Admin Alerts
- Metadata Framework
These notifications will be sent according to the value set in "Attachment Limit Notification Monitor Period" setting:
- 1d=once a day
- 3d=once every three days
- 7d=once every seven days
- Never=default is never
The email is only generated when document storage usage reaches the percentage set in "Start sending alerts when the storage usage reaches the following percentage of the total allocation" setting. These emails are intended to alert the customer that they need to delete documents or contact their Account Team/CEE to request more storage.
NOTE: The time (1/3/5/7 days) stands for how often the Attachment limit job will be run to check if the storage usage exceeds the threshold.
