SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

When a Performance Form is received, it can be found in the Performance Inbox folder. Once the actions have been taken on the form, it can be sent forward to the next user's Inbox defined in the route map.

• At that time a copy of the form is created in the En Route Folder. This is called the En Route copy of the form. 
• This En Route copy is a snapshot in time and only contains information that was on the form at the time it was in the Inbox.
• The En Route copy will NOT show the most current data that another user has entered.
• If a copy of the form with the most current information is required, then the form will need to be routed back to the Inbox of the user that requires the inforamtion.
• The exception is if the step is a C Step, where the form is not actually moved to a new person, but where everyone can see the current form from their inbox.
• There is no Search functionality in the En Route Folder, if the Latest Version of My Forms Page is not enabled, however the forms can be ordered as per the Display Option headers e.g. Last Modified Date, etc. To enable the Latest Version of My Forms Page go to Performance Management Feature Settings - Enable the latest version of the My Forms page: now search filters are available in every folder such as All Forms, En Route, Unfiled, and custom folders. 

Exceptions

• An exception is a rating will update in an En-route folder when the ratings come from the Metric Look up table (MLT). These ratings will always show the actual value displayed as this value is read directly from the Data base. (PMU-11861)
• The exception to a snapshot in time is a Variable Pay worksheet. Variable pay does not support En Route copies of worksheets. (VRP-4074)
• Traditionally compensation and variable pay worksheets do not leverage workflows as Performance Forms would.
• Normally a single planner will manage a worksheet, so to date the product has not supported a snapshot for variable pay.
• This means if you did add workflows/route maps to your varpay process, each person at each step sill see a live version of the worksheet.
• Therefore planners need to understand that for varpay anyone in the workflow will potentially see all sensitive data.

Note: If the option "Keep Last Touched Version" is enabled on the template, then it will never show updated data and you will only ever see the data that existed at the time you physically held the form in your Inbox.
