2088883 - [SSO] Missing Credentials Error when Partial Single Sign-On is Installed

User is getting "Missing Credentials" error when tries to access the instance with Partial Organization Single Sign-On enabled.

Try to access the instance and the error Missing Credentials appear in the login page.

Partial Organization SSO is a special feature which allows a company to specify on an individual username basis whether the employee needs to login via SSO or can use the Legacy Sign-in page with username and password.

To access the non-SSO login screen, you cannot use the default URL (https://performancemanager.successfactors.com/login?company=nnnnnn). When this is entered the system looks up your company and sees that it has SSO enabled.  Since this link does not contain the user credentials you are redirected to the "Missing Credentials" error page.

• If "Partial Organization SSO" is enabled, then this special URL is needed for PWD users to access the Company Login Page: https://performancemanager.successfactors.com/login?company=nnnnnn&loginMethod=PWD
• It will also work if you use the non-company qualified URL: https://performancemanager.successfactors.com/login?
  The user will be prompted to enter the Company ID as well as the username and password.

NOTE: Wherever it has "performancemanager" above, this should be the correct datacenter for the instance being accessed.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Partial Organization SSO in SAP SuccessFactors will reach end of maintenance on May 16, 2025 and be deleted on November 13, 2026.

We are phasing out basic authentication using SAP SuccessFactors usernames and passwords, with support ending on June 2, 2025, and full deletion by November 15, 2026 and this includes all users still using basic authentication under Partial Organization SSO. We are requesting all customers to migrate to SAP Cloud Identity Services - Identity Authentication before this time.
