SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Resolution
The SuccessFactors BizX suite has a timeout and a timeout warning on customer session, which follows the below:
- 30 minutes timeout on no activity as default;
- And as maximum timeout period;
- The 30 minute timeout is an important part of our cloud security measures.
- A warning presented 10 minutes before timeout by default.
- Both settings can be adjusted on Provisioning > Company Settings > Session Timeout Settings (screenshot below).
- You can have the warning change from 10 minutes to any value less than 30. For example the customer requested a 25 minutes warning before session timeout. Put 5 minutes in the warning before session timeout box, then the remaining 25 minutes will be the Warning before session timeout.
- Certain parts of the product have options that determine when a warning might be shown, any questions or requests specific to only one page or part of the product should be raised directly with its support team.
Note: For SuccessFactors Mobile application, session timeout is not applicable. On mobile its authentication and passwords are handle differently as referred on this KBA 2364650 - Different passwords used in the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile [SF MOB]
