# What is the HTTPWatch Tool?

HTTPWatch is a tool capable of fetch and collect all the URLs accessed during a specific connection or action in a web page.

In a SuccessFactors emphasis, it's used to track the whole connection workflow when a user is facing issues while doing something in the system.
So, in a troubleshoot case, Support Team may ask you to collect these URL's flow, and this KBA is intended to show you how to do that.

# How to download and install?

HTTPWatch have a free version, which can be downloaded here.

Install the program on the computer's browser where the issue is reproducible.

Note: you may need to ask your IT Department's installation permission as it's a tool which will collect everything you'll access in recording mode.

How to collect http logs:

1. Open the tool by clicking in the colored umbrella icon (top right of browser page);
2. Go to the feature, page or section where your issue is reproducible;
3. Press the "Record" button and then try to execute the task you're facing the issue with;
4. Once you've reproduced the issue, you can stop the recording by hitting the "Stop" button;
1. The log will be ready for download now.
5. Finally, hit the "Save" button and store the logs in "hwl" format;
6. Provide the logs on the support case your issue is being evaluated through.

Note: If the HTTPWatch tool cannot be installed due to IT restrictions, an alternative will be capturing similar trace fro browser Network tab (HAR file) as detailed in KBA 1990706 or 2760505
