Symptom

  • Command R3trans -d fails when run from a Java stack.
  • Same command succeeds when used with the ABAP stack.
  • "r3trans -d" encounter error on Jave stack system:

    Fix it according to KBA 3078479 - R3trans -d
    ERROR: first character of SAP-Release is not a digit - SAP ASE for Business Suite

  • There isn't SAPSR3 user but SAPSR3DB in Java stack system

    1> select suid, name from master..syslogins
    2> go
    suid name

    6 SAPSR3DB
