Symptom
- Job descriptions are being updated but the employee does not see the updates; only the employee's manager can see the updates. Both the employee and the employee's manager have the same permission setup. Why can't the employee or anyone else who has the correct permissioning see the Job Description setup?

Some roles may not trigger an updated job description if you are setup with Dynamic Synchronization or Total Synchronization for your Position Description Sync Style, and the check box "Update Job Description to the latest version for all viewers (available only for Total and Dynamic Sync)" is not checked on your template. Go to Admin Tools > Template Administration > Form Template > select your Individual Job Record/Job Description template and enable 'Update Job Description to the latest version for all viewers." This will ensure all viewers trigger an update and see the latest job descriptions.
Note - the Position Description Sync Style is setup by SuccessFactors in provisioning when you implemented the Job Description module and is not something you can change.
