2094205 - Batched SQL statements using host variables fail with not initialized error message

Symptom

  • Running certain batched SQL prepared statements in IQ that utilise host variables across a TDS client connection can intermittently fail in IQ.  
    This is an example of the failure messages seen.

Environment

  • All versions of SAP IQ servers running on unix
  • TDS client application running batched prepared statements utilizing host varaibles to pass paramenters into IQ
