2095626 - Performance Issue: SAP Work Manager for IBM - Work order fetches taking too long and causes deadlocks and error 13

Symptom

  • Users are getting Error 13 during transmits
  • The errors are coming in from the Agentry Fetch steps
  • The transmit times of the users are taking too long
  • Database deadlocks occurs and is preventing users to continue

Example error from the user server logs:

SA_DBMS_API_Error, vendor says:
 >ERROR  1205:40001 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Transaction (Process ID 154) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.
