2095923 - Availability Time For a Resource Not Editable

You are not able to maintain the Availability Time in the Availability Calendar of a particular resource.

1. Go to the Resource Management work center.
2. Navigate to the Resource Search view.
3. Search for the relevant resource select it and choose the Show Availability button.
4. Since the resource is Available, you select the resource name to expand the Availability Calendar and view the Target Capacity value of the resource.
5. You see that you are not able to maintain the time values for the resource in this screen.

You will be able to maintain time committed for your resource only when you have maintained his/her commitments for a particular period against a relevant project.

Please follow the below given steps to maintain commitments for your resource.

1. Go to the Resource Management work center.
2. Navigate to the Resource Search view.
3. Search for the relevant Resource , and choose the button Show Availability.
4. In the Availability Calendar screen , choose the button Maintain Commitments.
5. The system will display Project Assignment screen for the resource. You should maintain committed work hours for the resource under a Project for the Time Frame you desire.
6. Choose Save and Close button.

The system will now display the committed work hours distributed evenly for the days in the time frame you have selected against the Project in the Availability Calendar screen. You will not be able to edit the distributed time in the calendar against the relevant project in this screen.
