2097279 - ASSERTION_FAILED in Excel upload

Symptom

While uploading data to a Decision Table through an Excel file in BRFplus Workbench, the process terminates with an ASSERTION_FAILED dump in class CL_FDT_DECISION_TABLE. In the dump source code you may see an excerpt similar to the one below where the termination is triggered:
