2098291 - SySAM License Server 2.3 does not work in SUSE 11 SP1

Symptom

  • Installing SySAM License Server 2.3
  • On SUSE Linux 11 SP1 (SUSE 11.1)
  • Results in error message when trying to start the SySAM Sever:

    server212sx:/opt/sybase_sysam2.3/SYSAM-2_0/bin # ./lmutil status -bash: ./lmutil: No such file or directory
    server212sx:/opt/sybase_sysam2.3/SYSAM-2_0/bin # ./lmgrd -version -bash: ./lmgrd: No such file or directory
  •  This is no issue on SUSE Linux 11 SP3
