2098549 - Error Message "RPMF_MESSAGE 13" or "RPMF_MESSAGE 30" When Releasing the Production Model for Planning and Execution

When trying to release a consistent Production Model for Planning and Execution, system displays below error messages:

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Models view.
3. Select the relevant Production Model ID and select Edit button.
4. Select Check Consistency button, system shows the production model is consistent.
5. Select Release Production Model button and the option For Planning and Execution from it.
6. System displays the mentioned error messages.

In the related Production Bill of Materials, the Input Quantity for a Product XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID) is maintained as Zero.

As a consequence, the system displays error messages when releasing the Production Model for planning and execution.

Either remove the unnecessary input product, or increase the quantity of the input product.

To increase the quantity of the Product XYZ, follow below steps: 

1. Go to the Planning and Production Master Data work center. 
2. Select the Production Bills of Material view.
3. Search for the Bill of Materials ID and select Edit button.
4. Navigate to Input Products page.
5. Select the corresponding Line Item and uncheck the Variants checkboxes for the Input Product with zero quantity.
6. To change the Line Item with the Product of zero quantity, you have to create a new Engineering Change Order (ECO) for this Input Product. You can also use an existing ECO with the status: In Process.
7. Choose the Change option and you will see a new Line Item is added.
8. Change the quantity of the product XYZ from 0 to XX quantity.
9. Click the Save button.
10. Select the new Line Item and click the ECO button and then select Complete action.
11. Now assign this new Line Item to the Variants of the BoM (check the variant checkbox).
12. Check the consistency of the BoM and select Save button.
