2100496 - Error "SQL generation parameters file could not be loaded (WIS 00514)" for some users in Webi Rich Client when refreshing WebIntelligence reports

Symptom

  • When refreshing WebIntelligence reports based on SQL server 2012 universes from Webi Rich Client with non administrator accounts in a specific machine, an error occurs: "SQL generation parameters file could not be loaded (WIS 00514)".
  • Sometimes, the error message is:"Unable to load the database file for data generation settings SQL (MS SQL Server 2000 OLE DB). (WIS 00514)".
  • When refreshing Webi reports based on .txt files from the same machine, the error: "WIS 30917" is displayed.
  • The same users are able to refresh the same WebIntelligence reports from Launchpad.
  • Users belonging to Administrators group are able to refresh WebIntelligence reports from Webi Rich client in the problematic machine.
